La Carine Roitfeld
As we are moving to Paris I am reading a lot about french culture.
A leading role in Paris existent fashion culture plays the editor of french Vogue, Carine Roitfeld. I read a lot of interviews and I was amazed about statements she made. I know now that she should be some sort of "style icon" for french women. I don't like the word "Icon" because it is like one person would give the direction of how to dress and I don't think that it is not the intention of most of the so called "Icons" because they just wear what looks good at them which doen't mean that this kind of style works with anybody. I think "Icons" are just people who are alright with themselfs, body and soul. Apart from the "Icon thing" I agree that Carine's appearance is special. I could look at thousands of photos of her without getting bored. I think she is not a classic beauty, but her face is so interesting and misterious that you have to look at her. Most of the classic beauties do not have this quality and you just forget them. For example Sienna Miller is a classic beauty, perfect face and body. I just love to enjoy looking at her when she is dressed down, which means looking a bit unmaintained. But coming back to Carine...
I attached some photos of her with outfits which really inspired me.
